Race Splits to Watch (Beta)
Sign up to beta test Race Splits to Watch. We will notify you when support is ready for your watch manufacturer.
Currently available for Pro or those with an active Race Pass. This is a limited beta and the feature is still in development. If you're selected, reporting quirks and bugs will be essential to help us ship this into production as soon as possible.
We are testing a new watch feature that sends your race plan to your device as a structured workout, so you can execute it with manual lapping at course markers.
Please make sure you are on the latest version of MeteoPace from the App Store or Google Play.
How it works
- We send a workout to your Garmin or COROS. During your run, you lap manually at your chosen mile/km markers.
- When you lap, the next split/target is shown so you can stay on plan.
- Notes can be included (gels, reminders, mantras) where supported.
- Timing: the workout is scheduled on your race date (so it is ready in your calendar for race day). Set a race for today only if you want to test it right away.
- Updates: adjusted splits only update on your watch when you send splits to your watch again. We recommend doing that the evening before or on race morning.
What we are trying to validate
- Delivery: does it arrive quickly and reliably after you send?
- On-watch clarity: do the steps/targets make sense at a glance?
- Lapping: does each manual lap advance cleanly to the next split (no missing/extra laps)?
- Notes and units: do notes show up (where supported), and are miles/km correct?
